Before choosing a car insurance company do some research. To get the cheapest possible rate make sure you call few companies before you decide which insurance company you will join. Make a list of all questions you might have before you call and be ready to answer questions you will be asked. A lot of car insurance companies will try and sell you additional products, which you might not need, make sure you fully understand what these optional features are. If not sure ASK, remember, it's your job to ask questions and their job to answer them. If you are asked a question and you are not sure if you have to answer it ASK.   Comment: I had my car stolen recently, the person who did it was caught and charged with theft. Now my insurance company demands that I pay my deductible because car needs to be fixed. Is this true that the deductible has to be paid in this case. I don't see how any of this was my fault and why I would have to pay anything out of my own packet.

Comment: I think it depends on your insurance company, but since 2002 laws changed and unfortunately insurance companies have the right to charge you deductible.

Comment: I just got off the phone with pc insturance, yes they offered me a great insurance rate, I have to pay some penalties for leaving my current insurance company which I will do, I will save over $50 on my monthly payments.

Comment: I m already paying less than what PC quoted for the same coverage

  From: robert (3/2/2008 10:53:05 AM)
Comment: My pc quote turned out to be 100 bucks more a month than what I am paying right now, and I am already an existing customer for them. I have been with state farm for many years I guess they are not so bad after all.

  From: Aaron (4/13/2008 9:50:01 AM)
Comment: Pc Insurance wanted $1000.00 more per year than the company I am going with for the same coverage, they’re saying” Paying to much for auto insurance" doesn't mean anything.
