Winter is finally here. Put your motorcycles away - snowmobiling season is here. Here are some of the things you should be aware when it comes to renting a snowmobile. All operators must be a minimum of 19 years of age and must have a valid drivers license.
Gas, oil and taxes are usually not included. Most places will include one helmet but you should always check in advance. Snowmobile suits can also be purchased or rented at the time of pick up. You will also asked for a security deposit when renting a snowmobile (usually between $1000 to $1500 per snowmobile), you are also responsible for any damages while you're riding.

Speedy Snowmobile Rentals (Kirkland Lake, Ontario) - Prices range at around $200 per day. Some of models available: Polaris, Yamaha, Rage and Ski Doo.

Haliburton Sled Rentals (HSR) (multiple locations around Muskoka, Haliburton and Sturgeon Falls/North Bay ). Skidoos available at $250 on weekdays and $299 on weekend rentals (other rental specials also available)

Muskoka Snowmobile Rentals (Huntsville, Ontario) Prices starting at $229 per day. Some of the snow mobiles available GTX 550F, GSX 500SS, Skandik SWT 550.

Joyride Rentals (Muskoka, Huntsville, Ontario) Prices starting at $199 per day. Models available: Yamaha.
