After William Thomson Lord Kelvin, British (1824-1907). The kelvin
is the unit of absolute temperature. Thus, absolute zero is zero
kelvin, symbolized by 0 L. And water, which boils at 212 degrees
F., or 100 degrees C., boils also at 373.15 K.
